What started out as a small group of construction friends competing for cash and “bragging rights” 14 years ago, has turned into a tremendously successful tournament benefiting Rebuilding Together Miami-Dade. To this day, the tournament is 100% volunteer run by long-time supporters, Rich Cook and Stephanie Cochran. Over the past 8 years, they have grown the tournament exponentially. In 2017, there were a record breaking 25 boats entered and $27,000 was raised, bringing the 8 year total contributions to $90,800!

Get to know the competition at the Captain’s Meeting held at Duffy’s Haulover Inlet. Boats entered in the tournament may take off from any inlet at 5:30 am. Anglers fish their hearts out, hoping to catch the largest dolphin before weigh-in back at Duffy’s at 4 pm. The three anglers with the heaviest fish earn a cash prize; there are additional prizes for female and junior anglers as well.

The tournament is an absolute blast and an awesome way to support Rebuilding Together while doing something fun with friends or family. For more information regarding sponsoring or registering a boat please contact:
