Repairing homes, revitalizing communities, rebuilding lives.

No homeowner should have to forgo basic home maintenance in order to afford food or medications. Unfortunately, many factors such as job loss, disability, or expensive medical bills often force homeowners to make difficult choices about how to prioritize a limited source of income to meet life’s many demands.

Rebuilding Together Miami-Dade repairs and modifies homes for Miami-Dade County’s most vulnerable homeowners. Our efforts preserve affordable home-ownership, fight gentrification, stabilize communities, and ensure the safety and health of residents.

***Thank you for your interest in our repair programs. Due to the high volume of applicants and our already extensive waiting list, we are  ONLY ACCEPTING  APPLICATIONS FROM THE FOLLOWING: veterans, Florida City homeowners, and Coconut Grove homeowners.

If you do not fall into any of the above three categories and are in need of repairs, please call our office at 305.200.5711 for more information.
Unless you are a veteran and/or reside in Florida City or Coconut Grove, no applications will be accepted or processed until January 2023.***

On April 27th, with the help of over 160 volunteers, we rehabbed 9 homes in Florida City! Homes were painted and landscaped this day, and all properties received critical repairs previously such as new roofs, windows and bathrooms. The gratitude expressed by homeowners was overwhelming, underscoring the profound impact of community-driven initiatives. Their joy serves as a testament to the power of coming together to effect positive change.

SheBuilds Program Launch

On March 8th, International Women’s Day, we proudly launched our newest program, SheBuilds. This initiative aims to empower women by providing them with the skills, resources, and support needed to thrive in the construction industry. The kickoff event was a tremendous success, where we painted 3 women-led households in Little Bahamas using all women volunteers and house captains. We’re excited about the opportunities this program will create for women in South Florida!
